It was so damn difficult. It really was. Every time Abigail tried protecting someone she cared about, she ended up getting hurt. Would it be easier not caring at all? She loved Mina, but she ended up getting fang banged because of her. The Count had his mark on her. She was under his control. But there had to be some way to leave his grasp.
Two weeks ago, telling Abigail Van Helsing that vampires existed or that magic existed would have made her chuckle. However, Viktor had someone named Jefferson who could somehow make a portal out of a hat. Out of a fucking hat. It was difficult for Abigail to comphrehend any of this, but her certain abiltiies made her question the realm that she lived in.
She could suddenly feel the life force of every living thing around her. Her senses were heightened. She felt a sudden urge to kill everything in sight. It was like she was turning into a monster. A monster that took her darling friend away from her. Count Dracula would definitely have his days lost soon enough. That man had lived way too long. It was time for his days to be ended.
But it was difficult because he could sense where she was and could...control her. Her efforts were barely there, because it pained her to stay far away from him. She'd have to somehow make her way to where Jefferson came rom. She would have to find a way to make a portal herself.
The existence of portals was new to Abigail, so she was unaware of where to go, but a stroll down memory lane might do something to help her with her future. She decided to visit Viktor. However, when walking towards his dwelling, it appeared that he wasn't even home.
It bothered her, because she was feeling disoriented. She decided to walk in the forest behind where he lived. Dracula had recently turned her into a vampire, so she was still a bit woozy and weak from what had happened. Time seem slowed...lost. Abigail would bring justice to Mina.
When she walked through the forest, everything seemed to be turning into a psychedelic trip. It felt as if the trees were closing in on her, so she slipped and fell on a thornbush. Abi immediately screamed out and got up. As soon as she got up, blood covered her arm. However, as she screamed she realized that she was healing herself.
Things got even weirder as she slowly closed her eyes. She fainted. She began to feel as if she was in a dream, but as she opened her eyes, she was in a different place. It didn't feel like much time at all. But it was shocking to her. She felt dissociated. As she opened her eyes, she tried to get up, but it was difficult for her. She was lost.
Without meaning to, she spoke up. However, when she talked, she didn't hear her voice. Instead, she sounded like something evil...and weak. "I need some damn help here."
