”I can’t say I don’t agree on that..” She said, tilting her head to he side while giving him a rather naughty look. That probably spoke more than whether she would say it. She was really going to pull a prank on him later, perhaps give him a sweat by walking out with the wallet. She would come back, though. But she just wanted to see him panic.
”Watch it.” She warned as he stuck his tongue out, attempting to grab it.
Her relationship with Neal just felt so natural, out of everything she had gone through; he was the only good thing. Well, her relationship with Ingrid had been good too, until she turned out to be a complete nutjob. Hooray for escaped mental patients.
Even kissing Neal seemed to ignite some kind of spark in her chest, that would burst into butterflies whenever she looked at him. Emma watched him, her cheeks becoming slightly rosy just enjoying their happiness.
”Thank God..” She then said, about Neal talking tot he owner. ”I’m pretty sure that if I was the one doing the talking, I’d call the steering wheel a wheel thingy.” She joked. Though when Neal asked if she remembered the day they met, Emma hid her face behind her hands.
”Please don’t bring that up, I can’t believe that actually happened.” God, she had felt so embarrassed for stealing an already stolen car. With someone in it!
”I mean I’m glad to have met you, but could it have been more awkward?”
The owner met up with them, and looked at the yellow bug.
”What can I do for you youth today?” The man seemed like a generally friendly guy, so that was a good thing.
