Anthony pulled his hoodie over his head while he swung a backpack over his shoulder. It was about 7:30 am, he just had breakfast at Granny's and had enough energy to finally start on the darn lock at Mr. Gold's shop.
The man shoved his hands into the front pocket of his sweater, looking like he tried so hard to blend in.
Lately, Storybrooke had been quite hectic, with the dead coming back and all. Anthony had no idea what was going on, not like he cared, anyway. Not being one of the savior gang worked out fine for him, at least he wasn't caught up in their shit every day.
Well.. he was, kinda. Some idiot tried to break into Gold's shop for the 7th time this week. He was growing somewhat annoyed that when his phone rang, it was always Belle that called him.
With a sigh, he stopped in front of the door of Mr. Gold's pawnshop, and observed the lock.
Marvelous, it looked like someone had tried to jab a goddamn elephant in there.
Anthony threw his stuff on the ground, opening his backpack and digging in for a screwdriver. Luckily the door to Gold's shop was pretty antique, so he was able to loosen the screws to get rid of the outside lock.
Looking for more damage, Anthony peeked through the hole and noticed that the robber that had tried to break in seriously dealt some damage.
Standing up straight, Anthony groaned inwardly. Nothing a new lock could fix, but really; Gold was better off protecting his shop with magic.
For the town of Storybrooke, Anthony Keith had been a shadow. Nobody knew who he was, and when he was asked he simply told them he was a locksmith in the Enchanted Forest. They didn't need to know what kind of man he really was, a murderer, a coward. Hell, even Anthony tried to forget his fairy tale life.
