did you see the sparks,
feel the hope?
It was stupid.
He didn’t know where he was going around town since the entire time he had been here, he was either wandering aimlessly, or roaming around the docks with his head down and ears focused on the sounds of the water, seagulls, and creak of the ships. But, no one could really blame him...right? Liam had no friends here in Storybrooke, besides his brother, and possibly Emma, but even then he hadn’t spoken to Emma much. Killian talked about her, of course, but it was something brief in the Underworld because he clearly didn’t want to speak all that much about it, which was fine by him. Either way, the both of them were going to have to confront each other at some point, but it was clear both of them were doing splendidly with the topic of avoidance. Not that he knew, but he was perceptive enough, otherwise some drama was due to happen sometime soon. Rumours seemed to travel quickly around town, that was all Liam really knew and could trust, even though it was a horrible source to trust and he knew it.
This time, he was at the docks, once again - he found himself here all the time though - but noticed that there was someone else. Not just someone who worked nearby, but it was a woman, with blonde hair, and he immediately put some facts in his head together and knew it was Emma. Perhaps his brother had rubbed off on her after all with the entire looking out over the ocean for comfort, or it was just something that stemmed from elsewhere. Cautiously, Liam approached the Saviour, noticing that she didn’t seem quite happy. Oh, of course, half the town wasn’t happy in all honesty.
“Emma Swan?” Liam stopped at a fair distance away from her, wondering if his presence was welcomed or not. He knew that this was her quiet moment, time away from everything else, and since she was here, she had her own purposes...in which Liam was making the general assumption it was his brother’s fault. There was an underlying bitterness in which he realized the first time they had discussed Emma and moved on after being extremely vague, but he never pried about it. He also wasn’t sure if she knew who he was, mostly because he knew there were no photos to show but mere descriptions. And, well, returning from the dead was sort of weird and against some laws, but magic had no boundaries on some parts, it seemed.
