ABOUT

Darla Mo is the leader of a mermaid pod called Delphinum. Being a pod based from dolphins, she has the ability to use echolocation to find things. She has extreme chauvinism towards mermaids and women. She despises landpeople and wants to rid the world of them. I'd consider her to be a villain, but a hero towards the ocean and the mermaids. She is a fantastic leader and counselor. You can see more about her on her app, along with some more strengths, and plenty of the weaknesses that she has. I do truly think she has many threading opportunities with everyone on the site.

MATES

She loves all mermaids. I'm sure that she'll tolerate you if you're nice to her, but she will be a bit threatening at first. She is basically like a siren to landpeople and will kill whoever gets close to her pod. She is extremely protective of whoever she cares about. Since she was captured by an evil pirate and turned into his wife via a potion he forced her to drink. Her main objective is to become a mermaid again and return to Neverland to be with her pod. She is very wise as well, being immortal from living in Neverland so long. She can also travel through realms, being a mermaid. I'm sure she'd show kindness to someone if they acted as if they'd help her on her journey.

FOES

She definitely has more enemies than friends. She isn't innocent, though she'd love to pretend to be. Darla has killed many people. Her chauvinism isn't without reason, however. She's seen many different bad aspects of how land people live, such as pirates and barbaric cannibals. She's also seen forest destruction and many other terrible things. She just needs to see a different light to all of the horrible experiences she's been in with land people. After being stuck with the pirate for so long, Darla has probably forcefully met plenty more land dwellers. 

LOVERS

She's bisexual. I think that she doesn't have a definite hate for men. She definitely hates pirates, who are mostly men. True love is probably one of the only ways that she'll be able to retrieve her fins, whether that be with a man or a woman. I feel like she finds romance to be a bit of a waste of time. She's fairly professional and reserved, and not much of an emotional person. Being the pod's counselor at such a young age made her definitely mature in terms of emotional involvement. She sees the way romance makes people happy, but she also realizes the emotional downside to it. And much like Cora, she sometimes believes that love is weakness.

Neal and Darla: maybe these two met on NL at some point. Whether they were friends or enemies is another story.

Ariel and Darla: mermaids unite!

Darla

Darla and Neal: Definitely. I think she is familiar with the lost boys on Neverland. I mean, she doesn't like the Island of Neverland one bit, but the waters of Neverland have been her home for a long time. They could potentially meet...and she could potentially be kind to him since he is still an innocent child. But she is aware that many of the children on Neverland are centuries old and many are not that innocent. So it would be interesting to put them in a situation together.

Darla and Ariel: They're very similar, but also very different. Ariel wants legs and loves a landboy, where Darla wants to be a mermaid again and wants to rid herself of a landboy. I could see them being pretty good friends and Darla pretty upset with Ariel's decision, since it's the exact opposite of what she wants. 

Neal Cassidy

Neal and Darla: Well, Bae doesn't like that island either, but, it was 'home' for the 2 centuries before he escaped the island. I'm sure the two of them would be kind to each other, or at least he would try to be. But, he heard about mermaids of Neverland being evil. What if Bae goes for a swim or bath in the seas of Neverland, and, almost drowns, either because of her, or because of something else, and, she saves him.

Ariel and Darla: Well, she wouldn't be the first one upset with her decision. Since her own family is the same way about her want to be a part of, and, fascination with the human world. But, I'd love for them to be friends.

Darla

Darla and Neal: Yeah, I could see him being one of the few land people she begins to trust. I think she would have usually let him drown, but would probably think about saving him, thus making him more special to her. I'm thinking that she could potentially try to drown him but realize that he's a small child when he starts yelling out in the water. I can start that thread if you'd like! ^^

Darla and Ariel: Yep, that'd be nice. They could meet anywhere, since they're both portal travelers. But maybe Ariel could come to Darla's pod to check on things. It's up to you.

Neal Cassidy

Neal and Darla: That sounds fair. Because Neal isn't good at trusting people either, so it would take a lot to get him to again. That sounds like it'll be fun, feel free to start it.

Ariel and Darla: Darla's pod sounds alright to me.
