@aliceliddell credit to nat of adoxography. | Neal had what most people would call a strange sense of humour, but, that didn't matter to him. Humour had been a means of survival growing up. Neal had always been the quiet type, but, if need be his voice would be heard. "I know, but, it could've been fun. But, between you and me, I could've found something to change us back. Well, because I do that sometimes." Neal said, smiling softly and looking at Alice. "You're right sometimes they are. Yeah, it just sucks to be forced to have that burden." Neal rubbed his hand up and down his arms as he saw the memories in his head. "Oh, I'm definitely with you. Merrier thoughts all the way." Neal took the focus back to the car, a safer topic of conversation. "Tell you what? I'm staying in the Bed and Breakfast literally right there." Neal paused, and, pointed up to the Bed and Breakfast. "So, what if you leave the car here, and, I work on it? That way you can still be saved the towing fee and neither of us has to try and push it back to your cottage." Neal didn't mind helping out the young girl, if anything it would give him something to do on the nights that he couldn't sleep. Neal didn't mean to laugh at the young girl, but, it was a reflex more then anything. Neal rested his hand on Alice's shoulder, "If only there were" Glancing down, Neal looked at Alice's wrist. "You're rght that does sound bad. But, how were you stuck there for that long? It's ok though, I never follow my own advice alot of the time either." Neal said, before moving his own jeans leg up. "That scar is from when I was a kid, and, I got my foot stuck in a hole in the golf course. I was working as a caddy, and, I tripped. Was stuck there for quite a while before someone found me too." |
