Ingrid
Sarah Fisher
PERSONALITY Strong - Most of her life, Ingrid has lived in fear of her own abilities, and in hiding so that others wouldn't know her true nature. She's been deceived by her own sister, when she trapped her in an urn. All in all, Ingrid has known mostly pain through her life, has had very few friends or people she trusted, but she is still standing and everything she has seen, has only made her stronger. Lonely - Her life in hiding has made her lonely, right down to her core. It was the main reason for her goal of making herself another family. A family that would love her for who she was, and not fear her. In part so she could learn to love herself as well. She grew used to watching others have fun and being social, when she was a child. And she has yet to learn to stop being a spectator. Misunderstood - Ingrid's tragic past has lead her to do things out of desperation. Things that hasn't always been the best. But to think that Ingrid wants to kill or hurt people is completely wrong. It is just a desperate attempt to make people love her, like her sisters had, before things went so horribly wrong. Unlike what people think, Ingrid is a genuinely kind person. It is just circumstances that made her otherwise, when she felt the need to lash out and defend herself or fight for what she wanted. HISTORY Ingrid is the first born of Queen Sonja and King Harald of Arendelle. In the first years of her life everyone was blissfully unaware of her powers. Until a man tried to kidnap her sister Gerda. Ingrid was terrified and warned her sisters to stay away. But they assured her of their love for her and that they as sisters, could get through it. Still, Ingrid kept to the shadows, rarely appearing at public gatherings or parties. Which of course lead to a terribly lonely life. Although she loved her sisters more than anything, she was also jealous of them. Not in a bad way, she just wished that she could have the life that they had. Still scared that she won't be able to control her powers, all three of them travel to misthaven to see Rumplestiltskin. In exchange for their yellow ribbons, he gave them gloves to cancel out Ingrid's powers and an urn, to trap her in, if her powers become to much to handle. Not too long after, Ingrid was approached by Helga's suitor, the Duke of Weselton. Who, despite his pursuit of her sister, came on to her. Scared, and a bit disgusted, Ingrid pushed him away from her, with a blast of her magic. When Helga arrived, the Duke suddenly claimed that it was Ingrid who had come on to him and that she harmed him, when he didn't feel the same way. Helga doesn't believe him. But when he threatens to tell everyone about Ingrid's magic, she shot her magic at him in anger. But The Duke used Helga as a shield, meaning that Ingrid had turned her sister to ice. Crying over her sister's body, Gerda came to find her. Despite Ingrid's desperate tries to get her sister to understand that she had not meant to kill Helga, Gerda trapped Ingrid in the urn. Ingrid did not see the light of day again, til years and years later. When Gerda's eldest daughter, Elsa, found the urn. For a while they got along, while Ingrid taught Elsa about her powers, which were much similar to her own. But Elsa's sister Anna was not as kind as her sister. She did not believe Ingrid's assertion about being their aunt. When Ingrid learned that Anna found out that her parents were trying to find a way to get rid of Elsa's magic when they died, Ingrid is convinced that she has to do something to stop Anna from getting the same idea and to protect Elsa. Her ways to do so, where probably too drastic, as she conjured up a storm, making Anna fall from a mountainside. Ingrid stole the sorcerer's hat from Anna and trapped her in the castle's dungeons- thinking that Anna would use the hat on her sister. Ingrid did not trust Anna and vowed to find another person to replace her, in her attempt to rebuild her family. Things continued to turn to the worse as Ingrid tried to replace Anna and Elsa turned her back on Ingrid, when Ingrid used the curse of shattered sight on Anna. Elsa refused to use her magic on her sister, and instead her sister trapped her in the urn. History repeating. Ingrid did not expect this and started to see herself as a monster. She then froze Anna and Kristoff, and erased Elsa's memory of herself. Rumplestiltskin appeared, stealing the urn, wanting the sorcerer's hat in trade for it. Ingrid claimed to not know where it was. When she received word that the apprentice had found her a sister to replace Anna with, Ingrid traded in the hat, for a magic scroll and a portway to another world. She lived in this new world, while she waited for the girl, Emma, to grow up. Ingrid became her foster parent for a while and loved her as best as she could. Until she thought she saw magic in the girl and unintentionally scared her, by pushing the subject to hard. After that, it was back to waiting, until she could go to storybrooke and finally find her again. But it didn't go as well as she had hoped. In fact pretty much everything went wrong, in the end at least. Instead of gaining the family that she so desperately wanted, they feared her and fought her, like they had before. And in the end she lost them, when she sacrificed herself, to remove the curse she had cast on the small town. RP SAMPLE It felt odd, being back in the town where she has watched everyone from afar, while they had no idea who she was. Nobody had really bothered her then, she'd spent most of her time on her own, hadn't really spoken to anyone, unless they came into her shop. But now, everyone knew who she was. Which wasn't always a good thing. People remembered the curse that she had cast on them, but not all remembered that she was also the one who had broken it. And that she had sacrificed her life to do so. It was bad for business, not that Ingrid care much about that, she'd get by somehow. But she did wonder, if things would stay this way, or if it would ever get any better. It was snowing outside, not to her or Elsa's doing this time, but pure natural snow. Snow always made her feel better, no matter what was going on. Ingrid found it extremely beautiful and peaceful, watching it was a good way of calming herself down, if something upset her. She wasn't upset now, but she still decided, that if it was still snowing when she closed up shop, she would go for a walk. It didn't matter that it would probably be dark then, as long as the snow kept falling, it would light the way. |
