PERSONALITY He is a young one so his personalty is not fully formed. As before he was taken by Peter's Shadow he was a happy child, always getting into something. He drove his mother to distraction by getting into trouble starting since he could walk. Not that he meant to, he was just too curious. He always loved to play and help others as well, sometimes to the extent of taking from others to give to those less fortunate. Though his father had went away over seas and left him when shortly after he was born. He felt the feeling of being unloved, and of loneliness that lured him to the sweet music Pan played. That fun loving adventurous boy who loved to help others returned whenever Emma, hook, Regina and Henry freed them and took them to Storybrooke, though during his stay at Never land he was just as wild as the rest of them, though eventually the thrill and novelty of "freedom" faded robbing him of his joy and liveliness. HISTORY Aven was born long before the curse. He was born to a lovely woman named Susan and a man who was constantly on the go, sailing the open seas named Brennan. His mother opened a bakery in the town his father was in and they met and they fell in love. Soon the couple was expecting and Aven was born. Shortly after the father had some news of a job over the seas and promised to return with a boat full of money to pull them and her bakery out of the slums, yet he never did return. Aven grew up with no father but a mother who tried everything in her power to make ends meet for her son who spent most of his time since he could walk getting into trouble with his curious nature. The unknown was not frightful for the young lad but inviting. He had to figure things out, constantly working with his hands, figuring things out that adults became frustrated at. Also, if there was a piece of territory not walked on by his little feet he had to walk on it. this followed another of his weakness. That he didn't know a stranger. He would often talk to any of everybody, sometimes finding those who were in need and often helping them in any way he could--sometimes in ways he shouldn't. But in the mind of a child he was only trying to help. His mother was distraught by her son's actions but no matter the punishment, it was as if he just could not help himself. And he loved his mother dearly. Though as much as he did love her and her him, the whole in his heart that only a father could fill remained. The hurt lured him to the ocean's banks to sit in the moonlight wishing that he would return. The sting of reality that he may never, that he didn't even love him at all, that he abandoned them was made apparent everyday.& Then one night as he sat watching the calm black waves roll, glittering in the moonlight he heard the sweetest of music, it called to him, almost hypnotic. He was then taken away by a shadow of a man to.. Never land. There he did what ever boy would do. He was "screened" then thrown in with the rest of the boys, first coaxed and groomed, then allowed to act in any way he pleased. It was kind of like having a family of only brothers. For awhile it felt nice, then he began to miss his mother. His home. The cries of the other children rang in his ears and haunted him. There was no escaping here.. or so he thought. When Emma and the gang showed up and flipped everything around, defeating Pan and freeing all the lost boys he went with them on the Jolly Pirate and headed back to StoryBrooke. There he was put in the foster system waiting to be adopted. RP SAMPLE Aven woke up tot he birds singing over head in their two bedroom apartment just above his mother's bakery. the sun had barely began to rise above the horizon and his mother was not even up yet. He got up from his bed and slipped on his shoes walking downstairs ever so quietly. He then walked out into the beginning of the everyday hustle of the town slipping in and out of people's way with ease. He eventually made his way to the market place and seen a friend of his who had a bum leg, smelly and dirty with tattered and worn out clothes, obviously homeless. His name was George. He told him once that his family came from royalty but abandoned him here in town when he was no longer able to walk. Aven bought every bit of it whether true or false. All the man wanted was his time never asked him of even a crumb, but Aven would always sneak some bread and sweeties for him. Today was no different until he seen that the man was being taken away in the back of carriage of bars. "Wait! Stop!" the boy cried out running after the carriage. He ran directly in front as the man in the back yelled. "Get out of here boy! Go back home!" "Woah!" the driver said halting the horses. "Get out of the way boy,go back to your mother!" he yelled as the horses padded about restlessly. "No! Please let him go, he's a good man!" he yelled in his defense. "No, he's a beggared and by order of the majesty anyone who cannot fend for themselves and beg in the town limits are to be arrested immediately." "But he's done no wrong!" he cried out glancing back at the man who was pleading with him to leave. "Out of my way boy or I'll lash you!" he said raising his whip. "no!" he said standing his ground, firm. Just as the knight was about to hit him his mother stepped in and shielded her son. "Please don't hurt him!" she cried out holding him. "Is this one yours?" the knight demanded. "Yes please, I'm sorry, I don't know how he got from me..I'm taking him away this instant." His upper lip turned up in disgust as she tried to drag the unwilling Aven away. "No stop! He's going to take away my friend! He's going to kill him! i have to help!" "Better keep a better eye on him or he'll end up a worse fate." the knight spat. "No son, he's just going away. He'll be fine." his mother coaxed as she drug him off, leaving the old man staring sorrowfully after Aven, and Aven him. |
