Spring was really coming around now and today it was nice and warm. Warm enough to venture outside without a coat. Not that Ingrid had ever needed a coat. But as she walked down the main street of Storybrooke, she noticed how many people were just wearing sweaters, not coats. The sky was blue and there was next to no wind. Pretty close to what Ingrid would call a perfect day.
After having closed up the parlor for lunch, Ingrid walked down the main street. She was planning on buying a sandwich at the bakery down the street. Maybe Granny's was a more popular place to have lunch, but Ingrid was still getting used to the whole idea of being around so many people. Even on a slow day it could be a bit... overwhelming. After so many years alone, then in the urn and then here in Storybrooke, keeping a low profile, it just felt more natural to her, to be on her own. So she would most likely just buy the sandwich and eat it at the harbor or back in the shop.
But before she ever got that far, something in one of the clothing shops, caught her eye. Ingrid stopped in front of it, to look at the dress. It was a delicate yellow (just the color for the season), had no sleves, a slim fit, and cut off right below the knees (or so she guessed). Ingrid didn't own a lot of dresses, because she knew that she'd never wear them to work. And when else would she wear a dress. Not that she owned a lot of clothes yet, having just come back to life. But it was a pretty dress and Ingrid thought that it might look good on her. She wasn't planning on buying it though. There wasn't any reason to. But she could still appreciate a pretty dress.
