It was different. Of course what could she expect? Nothing in this world made much sense. Now she could have continued on a path of vengeance, for what Snow White and Charming did to her and to her daughter at the same time. For years, she had been without knowledge of what happened to the egg that they had stolen. The knowledge of what had happened with her daughter--it hurt a great deal. And for the longest time she'd been mad at Snow and Charming. But when Emma had found Lily....all she wanted was to bond with her little girl, who wasn't quite so little anymore.
She wanted to spend as much time with her daughter as she could. But it was so hard, because well her daughter was grown and she was afraid she wasn't needed or wanted. She had promised her daughter that she would at least try and teach her how to be this big scary dragon. And she was going to do just that. But of course, she had to do what she could to keep her daughter happy. To create a bond with her, no matter how that happened. Unlike her daughter who had wanted revenge, she didn't. She wanted to focus on the here and now, instead of in the past. Instead of focusing on the pain.
It had been difficult when she didn't know where her daughter was. A sigh escaped her lips when she had no idea where the girl had gone. Taking a deep breath she watched the scenery around her. Finding Lillian was exactly what she had hoped it to be. She had told her daughter the truth. She'd carried the rattle that was meant to be her daughter's so she could show her. Seeing her daughter in her dragon form was absolutely incredible. But it was also important that her daughter see her for who she was. She had been very real and open. She wanted a future with her daughter, a relationship with her. But she wasn't about to give up on her daughter. She wanted to prove that she could be what her daughter wanted.
She didn't ever mind a little darkness, since she had some herself. She had promised that she would teach her daughter how to be this big scary dragon B***. That was what she aimed for, for today. It had only been a few days that she had reconnected, seen her daughter for the first time. Of course, being out in the open was exactly what they needed. That way in case something happened they wouldn't seriously get injured. Walking into the empty field, close to the town line, she waited with anticipation. Part of her couldn't wait until she could transform into her own dragon form. It seemed almost too good to be true. Just when she least expected it, she heard the footsteps. Instantly she knew it was her daughter. Turning slightly she opened her mouth to speak. "Lily. I'm--I'm glad you came." She knew there was so much to teach her daughter and not a lot of time to do it in.
