Ah, Granny's diner. The one place he could depend on to remain consistent no matter what was going on with the rest of the town. Sure, that consistency included everyone get nervous when he entered and Granny giving him filthy looks while making him wait forever for something as simple as a bagel, but hey, it was still something he could always count on amidst all the chaos. Everything else was changing. Hell, even his own life was changing. Neal was back and he had to patch his relationship with him all over again, Ingrid... wasn't as bad as he remembered her being, and Zelena was lurking in the shadows and he was sure she was going to cause trouble at some point. Not to mention the fact that he was trying to be a better man in general and use his new dark powers for good.
But more important than all of that- Belle was pregnant. He was going to have a family with her. It was almost too much to take in.
Sighing heavily, Rumple ventured into the diner, the quiet falling over the place making him smile faintly to himself as he moved to the counter and sat down. Granny was there, of course, and she offered him a glare.
"Oh chocolate chip muffin, please," Rumple asked of her.
"We're out," was her short reply. Rumple arched an eyebrow, tilting slightly to the left so he could look behind her.
"I can see them right back there," he informed her, even going so far as to point at them for her. Granny, however, just glared back at him.
"We're out," she said again.
"Right," sighed Rumple, "coffee, please." He watched as Granny wandered away from him, fairly certain that he wouldn't be getting his coffee any time soon. Ah, consistency.
