Because you want a relationship, a future, and anyone who has ever wanted that with me... it's just never worked out. I've always let them down; I destroy everything that I touch. That darkness they put in me... it's serious business.
Since coming to this town, Lily had struggled to wrap her head around everything that had happened. She had not only reunited with Emma, but, she had also finally met her mother Maleficent, and, agreed to stay in the town for a while. But, after what happened with that fantasy Enchanted Forest that had been written, Lily had made the decision to try and find the identity of her father. No matter who or what he was.
The problem was, Lily had no idea where to start her search. Since all she had was an eggshell that she wore around her neck, and, a vague description from her mother of a dragon. There wasn't really anyone she could ask, she'd tried asking her mother about it, but, she didn't really know much in the way to be able to give her answers.
Lily then remembered what people around town said, that the best person who knew nearly everything and everyone around this town was that imp Rumplestiltskin. Or as he was known in this town Mr. Gold. Which was better for her, because it was confusing enough for her trying to wrap her head around the reality of these fairytales being true, she didn't want to have to learn everyone's fairytale names by heart.
It wasn't a long walk to the store that this man owned, and, soon she found herself reaching it in virtually no time at all. Lily took a couple of deep breaths, and, soon pushed the door open, kicking the air in front of her as she entered the store, and, reached the counter, soon ringing the bell hoping to get the attention of anyone in this damn store.
