Zelena held up Rumple's white heart in the moonlight, the ribbon of road stretching in front and behind her. She turned it this way and that in her hand, marveling at the look of it, the feel. Seeing it there made her feel downright giddy. The red glint of the town line was behind her, separating Storybrooke from the rest of the world. It needed to be here, away from anyone that might come across them. People didn't often come to this part of town since hardly anyone ever left, and not usually by choice.
It really was a magnificent heart, no red or black to color it. It made her wonder how he accomplished something like this but it explained why he was trying to be such a nauseating do - gooder. Oh, but it was so sweet to now be resting in her greedy little hands. There were so many possibilities here, now, and she intended to use them to get to what she really wanted: his dagger.
Bending, she whispered quietly into his heart.
"Come to me, Rumplestiltskin."
The witch stepped back toward the town line, holding the heart as tightly in her hands as she dared. Once he figured out what she had he was not going to be happy about it. Possibly she couldn't defeat him with magic, but she certainly had cunning on her side. He needed to know that anything he might do would have consequences, Dark One or not. And maybe having his heart wasn't the same as having anyone else's but she was willing to see entirely what she could do with it.
"Now, before you react, I'd like you to notice what I have in my hand and what lies directly behind me. I really don't know what making your heart cross the town line would do, but are you willing to find out?"
She lifted an eyebrow at him, waiting to see what he would do before trying to take this meeting any further.
