Cloudjumper frowned thoughtfully as he finished his morning shift at the diner. He hadn't actually been anticipating working there that day, but somehow he had convinced to pick up a shift. A man had approached him a couple of days ago and had told him that it would be in his best interest to be in the diner today, and that he might meet someone very interesting to him. The man hadn't said what he meant by that, exactly, but he had said that he would be looking for a pretty, but somewhat sad-looking young lady by the name of Lily.
After that, he had left, and Cloudjumper had been very confused in the wake of the conversation. He didn't know much about this Rumplestiltskin, but he seemed to be a very strange man indeed. Still, a dragon's curiosity matched that of a cat's. He couldn't help but want to know what the man might have been suggesting when he said meeting Lily would be interesting.
So he had picked up a shift to give himself an excuse to be at the diner. He was really just waiting to see if this young lady would even show up. Since it was now the end of his shift, he supposed he had likely been tricked by the village prankster or something.
It seemed the girl was not there, and he was running out of reasons for being there himself.
Sighing, he let the chef that had just arrived take over for him as he moved out from behind the counter to sit at the customer end instead. He brought with him a tuna sandwich, which he fully intended on eating before making his way home again.
Maybe he was just stalling for a little bit more time. Damnit, he wanted to know what Rumplestiltskin had been talking about!
