Only you *
It had been almost a week since Belle had seen a doctor and had her suspicions confirmed. She was excited, but fearful at the same time. She was to be a mother. Ever since Mary Margaret had given birth to her son, Belle had found herself pining for a child. Yet with her marriage to Rumple so turbulent she had wondered if that would ever be a possibility for them. It seemed, however that their future was destined to have a child in it. She was with child and she had never felt so positive about things.
She was busy working her way through the books that had been returned. Things had been quiet for a short time and she was glad to enjoy the quietness that had wrapped itself around Storybrooke. She knew things would not stay quiet for long...they never did. She hummed away to herself as she logged the returns in her book, her neat cursive handwriting marking which books had come back. Some of the recent magics in town had interfered with her computer, which was perhaps more efficient, but she enjoyed writing.
She paused as her hand hovered over a book which had recently been returned...what to expect when you're expecting. A smile crossed her face and she found herself opening the book, her pale eyes scanning the pages with delight. She wondered what Rumple would think about her situation, she was excited to tell him, but feared his reaction. Would he be able to juggle fatherhood and fight the darkness within him? Was it too much for her to ask him to do both? She shut the book quickly, biting her lip, perhaps it was too much too soon.
Sometimes she couldn't believe that they were going through this again. She had thought, for sure, that he had finally conquered the dark one within. He had become the hero she knew he could be...and yet he had given it all up. Why?
